Oil-and-gas Pipeline Steel not only has high strength, but also has good low temperature toughness, high impact value, little anisotropy of mechanical properties, and the comprehensive quality meets the requirements of general international standard API 5L. The products have perfect molding and welding performance, and have excellent resistance to cold cracking and hot cracking, small fatigue crack growth rate and stress corrosion tendency if compared with the same kind of imported steel. The single coil is heavy, and is suitable for mechanized continuous production and has high utilization rate of materials.
The products can be divided into A, B, X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, X65, X70, X80, X100 (API 5L standard) according to the intensity level; it can be divided into ferrite + pearlite, pearlite + acicular ferrite and low carbon bainite according to the metallographic type; it can be divided into hydrogen sulfide resista, high strength, high toughness and spiral submerged arc welding pipe (SSAW), electric resistance welding (ERW) and longitudinal submerged arc welding (LSAW) according to its properties; it can be divided into high cold zone, acid medium, seabed, gas transmission, oil transportation and so on according to its usage.
